Interior slabs are judged on two things: how flat they are and how well they hold up. We prepare the sub-base, set the thickness and reinforcement for the load, and finish with a machine or hand trowel to the smoothness the space needs.
Basements, shops, utility rooms and garage interiors all get the same treatment: a vapour consideration where it applies, joints laid out to control shrinkage, and a surface left ready for sealer, coating or bare use.
Concrete Floors
- Troweled flat, with the finish matched to how the room is used
- Thickness and reinforcement set for the load on the floor
- Joint layout planned to control shrinkage cracking
